I disagree on abortion, cause every opportunity of life is a gift and ending a baby's life just like that is just not right! They can be put up for adoption but still be able to live..
I only have one exception though If they're in a country where the lifestyle is horrible then abortion might be a good plan
No. According to them it isn't breathing or something stupid like that. But do you know how the do the abortions? (like the partial birth abortion or something like that) Because one of my teachers explained it to the class one time, and it was like...insane
I am whole heartedly against abortion with two expections to the rule 1) If the person was raped resulting in the pregnancy 2) If for some medical reason that would result in the mothers death if she carried full term.
The possibility of pregnancy is always there, it doesnt matter what form of or combination of protection you use that chance is there. If you are not ready to become a parent you shouldn't be having sex in the first place.
If you are definately unable to care for the child then adoption is always a possibility there are many caring people out there who are unable to have children of there own that would more then welcome the chance to adopt and parent the child.
I personally believe abortion is wrong on many levels it would take me forever to go through and list them all. But not only is it an easy out for people who don't want to deal with the consequence to there actions but it is the death of an innocent person or the death of future life (depending on your believe whether it is human at that point) Abortion to some is a quick fix to a mistake they made and it isnt only deadly for the fetus but it can be for the mother as well. Although very rare a woman can die because of an abortion gone wrong, plus the possibility of that woman not being able to have children in the future. On top of that you have the emotional aspects to deal with which can be deterimental to one in years that follow.
would you rather have her abort her child or give birth to her child at the age of 14 with no job, no money and no man to help out and strict parents who would never talk to you again? would you want to bring your child into the world and not be able to pay/care for it?

A strict parent cannot legally say "because you got yourself knocked up at 14 get out of my house" they are still legally responsible for that childs welfare emotionally and financially. Not only that if she wasnt ready to be a mommy she shouldnt have spread her legs in the first place. She could put the child up for adoption or seek assistance through the government. There are many different things one can do when faced with an unplanned and/or unwanted pregnancy.
You had to start this serious discussion thread with abortion didn't ya?
JEEZ
For the sake of argument, no one has chosen the side of pro-choice yet. Although abortion is a terrible thing, not having the choice to have an abortion would be like taking away legal rights. Abortion is a subject that is mostly opinionated and depends on morals more than anything. Although it be a touchy subject, I feel that it is essential that the rights of the person able to make a decision be recognized (the bearer of the child). Then again, although the unborn child does not have a voice we can hear, it is in moral guilt that one chooses between abortion or no. People should have the freedom to choose ...
