I'm kinda the same way as sarah, except since I seem to keep moving and changing schools lately, I've become more outgoing and I don't think i'm so shy anymore. I was super shy when I was younger though, in middle school an that.
I guess you could still consider me shy, but in comparison, I've become alot more outgoing
For me it really depends on who I am around. With some people when first meeting them I am shy either get really really quiet or go beet red and giggle here and there for no real reason aside from nerves. With some people I am totally at ease and really outgoing. Odd as it sounds I even get somewhat shy online
I'm not so much shy as I just hate people, and I keep to myself as that's my preference.

I'm really shy. It's pretty bad sometimes. I have Dutch heritage so I can get really red when I talk to people lol, so that doesn't help. I'm usually somewhat outgoing with my close friends. I'm gettin a bit more confident but I feel so uncomfortable when I meet someone
working really gave me a boost in self-esteem and confidence
for me it really depends on who im with and where i am and stuff, like at school i tend to be a little more quiet during class, while at lunchtime i never shut up
or at work, i keep quiet and concentrate on my job, then when i finish early i go and chat to the ladies
I'm shy for like 10 minutes of meeting someone, and if they have a sence of humour then i am not shy at all, on the net its way different thouhg, if tehy don't like my joking around then they can just go away
