Camping/Fishing

I finally thought of a topic to start [Very Happy]

w00t. So onto it...Anyone here go camping regularly or at all? What are you fav places to go to? Do you like to fish? Whats your fav part of the whole camping experience??

Im going to Kikino in 5 days for 4 days with my hubby and my sister/bro-inlaw, nephews and my dad [Very Happy]

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited I havent gone camping in years and when I was younger we went at least 3-6 times a summer.

I have really NEVER gone camping. Would at least like to try it, but really if I wanted to sleep on the ground I could just go bring a sleeping bag and lay in the back alley and i'd still experience the same thing -- right?

One of the greatest things about camping (in my opinion anyway) is getting out of the city for a while where things are more relaxed and more nature like. I love the fresh smell when you wake up in the morning, the birds all over and the ability to jump into the lake right away [Very Happy]

I love roasting marshmallows and hot dogs and all that kinda stuff and of course fishing [Very Happy]

It is fun though to set up a fake campsite in a yard and have lotsa fun [Very Happy]

And your friends only have you, nothing else to distract them! But I'm going camping on Canada Day, then I'm going camping in Peace River(??)I have no idea why I have to camp there, it's like, so middle of no where. But I don't do much camping, I just got out for a night or two with a couple of friends somewhere in the bush, I go about 2 or 3 times a month in Summer

I go camping alot, but the survey is unfair because I use different methods of camping. Once a year we use a camper and go to a park, where I usually to the pampered camping, and then at least once a month, if not more (but with the rainy weather, only about once) I camp in the tent I bought this year, just for the hell of it or to go drinking with friends and play cards by the fire. Its hard to find places to camp with a tent though, because you cant just camp ANYWHERE, you can get into alot of trouble for camping in places you dont belong. But, we have managed to keep from getting caught and so far this year I camped on a baseball field and in a cemetary, those were some fun nights.... heh.
