canadians from certain places say "eh" yes... but not EVERY canadian. Also, canada ROCKS cuz they dont card you on drinks! Maybe some canadians would disagree, but i was 15 when I went on a french trip TO Montreal and Quebec City and I was never carded there. I got drinks at the HOTEL bar in Montreal, and the clubs in Montreal, and then the next night we went to the liquor store in Quebec city and didnt get carded. We brought back shitloads of booze to our hotel room, then smuggled the leftover booze back with us on th e bus back to USA. It was a great trip! Also, canadians dont tip in the US cuz they think its not necessary! TIP YOUR WAITRESSES!
Ah, always nice to see some positive comments about you're home country. Joe, what you said reminded me of that one 70s Show Episode, do you watch the show? They all go to Canada to smuggle back beer and stuff.
I see people in big fur coats sipping Tim Hortons!! lmao well I went north before. I went to Montreal, Quebec city I went Skiing at mont tremblant in Québec. oooomg I fell in love with down-hill . Ottawa, some bum town named timmins which was really ugly, Toronto, annd Nova Scotia which was really beautiful cause of the oceans. I want to go west to BC & Calgary & alberta to see those wicked awsome mountains next time!
The people in general were nice. It was a bit casual. It was weird seeing a few adults being so informal sometimes xD A few people I met made me say "eh" and it was so weird haha.
Glad you liked it here. You made me crack up when you mentioned " some bum town called Timmins". It isn't too good anymore, but it used to be areally propserous mining community way back in the day.
omg Sarah u know what they do? I did this at a friend's when it was the middle of the winter in Canada and her dad took a clean table, put fresh snow on it and put maple syrup on it so it froze. It tasted really good. Bit too cold for my liking, but still delicious.
im a canadian and i dont say eh. im canadian and i dont play hockey that much. not very much say eh and a lot of people play hockey, but unfortunately i dont. lol its really nice in canada though! ^_^
I hate hockey, but I do say "eh" hahaha.
I love Tim Hortons, but I like Starbucks better.
I hate Newfie accents (no offense to anyone >_>
I can tell the difference between someone from Vancouver to Victoria (BC)
I get told I sound like I'm from LA (I'm from Toronto)
We barely ever get snow days
I have no clue how to measure in farenheit
I measure in feet, not metres, but I do use centimetres
Students aren't able to transfer because our schools are so damn packed
I have no clue who our prime minister was three terms ago but I know every US president (not in order)
I'm hoping for Obama to win the election
I travel to NY and Michigan to shop
We may not be as fat as you guys, but we are as cool! ^_^; (oh diss! ♥)

Wow, I've never been ask nor even thought of this question before and that's pretty odd because for as long as I can remember I've wanted to move to Canada and go to University of Toronto when I turn eighteen and graduate. lol. I even know what scholarships I'll be applying for.
But anyways, when I think of Canada, I see a lot of snow falling, negative thirteen to thirty degrees and people in big coats. I also think of the School system because I've done some research on it and have some prior knowledge of it in that case.
I also think of all of the places that I can explore and in general I think of it as being better then America. lol. I'm not anti-america, it's just I don't enjoy America all that much.
So yeah, that is what I think and see when I think of Canada.
I like hockey though I can't skate, I say ey, but more in a Fonzi way, ay!!.
I don't like Tim Hortons, and I've never been to Starbucks.
I don't care about Newfie accents (offense to everyone!!)
I didn't know there was a different from Vancouver to Victoria
I get asked "who the hell taught to you to talk?" (I have a weird-ish voice)
I've never had a snow day, and I've had school on days where it was below -50
I got the jist of what it is in farenheit (though nothing mathematical)
I measure in metres, but I list my height in feet (though I know it in metres..)
There's one school in a 100KM radius, 'transfer' is a word that holds no meaning to me
I dn't care about who was president or prime minster
I'm hoping for Laura's great grandpa, John to win.
I don't travel! (i've been outside of BC/Alberta only once)
