Cyrus & Bell Dominate Kids Choice Awards

Am I the only one who is annoyed by the whole Miley Cyrus phenomenon? I've seen about 2 episodes of Hannah Montana & she really doesn't seem all that special. Just another Disney channel kid who is a mediocre actor/singer.

I dislike the whole disney channel. I mean its mildly entertaining but its still pretty lame. Not to mention the girl Marie lives with was raised on it and I'm not so sure I like the way she turned out

That was a little over-the-top. I was watching an interview with her before the Oscars & she was talking about girls like Lindsay & Britney & why she won't end up going down that path. She seems like a nice girl, so I doubt that's what her fate will be, seeing as she can blatantly see what the consequences will be.

I'm sure alot of people did. Some people swear they'll never have sex before marriage and then they get laid...I know one such girl personally.

People can change and quite honestly even a good person can make a bad mistake. I know someone who used to do heroine, one of the nicest people I know, very creative and a great since of humor.

One of my favorite metal vocalists of all time, Phil Anselmo is/was a big time crackhead and it's pretty evident in his music. However his work is really inspiring to me and he's contributed more to the metal scene than any one vocalist I know of. He was the vocalist for Pantera, Down, Superjoint Ritual, etc. All very big names in the metal scene. When you think of an artist you think of their solo work or their band work or both but you never really see more than one or two of their bands get any major attention.

People like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton I do however have no sympathy for because they don't do anything positive one way or another. They just get in trouble and party. From what I've heard they don't really talk about it in a negative manor or at all. Phil and people...they admit they have a problem which is the first step in losing it.

Hollywood really messes you up and remember these people are ACTORS just because they seem nice doesn't mean anything. Granted neither does singing but I feel like alot of the bands that I listen to really create something based off of their lives that is meaningful to them.With actors, you don't have to be creative or put your life into your work you just follow the script.

Yeah, I can see your point. But with all of the press on these crazy partying girls right now I think it's sending a message to all of the new, young female actors to stray from that sort of stuff. & Miley seemed pretty sincere while talking to Barbara Walters about that stuff. You are right though, I don't know her personally so she could be straight up lying & doing drugs right now.

Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus are the same people? I also didn't know people watched the DIsney channel, I thought it was for like people 12 under

We sometimes take turns picking the channels, so it's not that I want to watch the Disney channel, she puts it on.

I have a 10 year brother and I make him cry if he thinks he's gonna watch that shit with me in the living room. You gotta man-up Amber, you're like twice the age of me!

Haha, my sister is the same. She's a really lovely kid sometimes (she's very sweet & thoughtful), but sometimes she's just too hyper & obnoxious. I feel so bad when I make her cry, I always end up apologising. My other little sister on the other hand, I do things to make her cry & then enjoy every moment of it, hahah. She's 15, though.
