1.) I cannot quote anybody, i get a weird "error" message with a URL in quotes.
2.) I cannot PM anyone. I click the "PM" button in their post, and it brings me to the page, but nothing fills up the box. I see the "outbox" "sent" "savebox" tabs, but i cannot make a new message.

It seems to be working for me.
Can you please copy and paste the exact error you get when you quote someone?

hmm I just noticed you were using the template "ashRetro" -- try switching to Getaway a second and see if you still get both these errors.
If not it's a template issue and it'll be easier to figure out.
