Do you think it's okay for them to do that?

I think they should have the same rights as hetrosexual couples!
They are human aswell why not let everyone have the same chances!

Though when that child grows up..whats gonna happen at school when people find out...are they gonna be closeminded and all "Eww get away from my child"

but i dunno i saw people on the news protesting like with the signs "having children : 1 man 1 woman" but yeah, i can see how it could be real akward for the kid
I don't really understand all about how it could be bad though i've never talked to a kid with two dads or two mums before

Maybe it isnt bad at all maybe im just thinking of the worst case possible...
But my old friend is a lesbian and she used to get taunted everyday and bottles thrown at her..
So being a child of two mums or dads what would happen then?

yeah i guess the child would get teased a lot and stuff
or maybe the child will think that that's the only way he/she could have a relationship instead of with someone of the oposite sex

Nah i dont think so...I think the parents would teach the child what sexualities are out there...no?
though they wouldnt tell the child about sheep and making love to them

I think its perfectly fine for gay/lesbian couples to raise children. It already happens all the time, and the children turn out fine. Yeah, some harassment happens from other children or parents, but thats just something you deal with. If the child was gay, if they had some sort of physical deformation, anything really that makes them different..... kids always pick on each other. Its gonna happen about something. Its not big deal if its about gay parents.

I think that all couples regardless of gender should be able to freely raise children if that is what they want to do. Yes its true those kids could be teased in school and possibly shunned but truly that is preventable if more people in this world would teach tolerance and understanding of those who are different then themselves there wouldnt or shouldnt be that problem.

On a serious note

Since I am canadian and we allow gay marriages and all that, I must say I really didn't care whether they could get married or not. I think in a way this goes into the same category! They should be allowed to do whatever the heck they want, sure alot of conservatives will not agree with this idealogy but so what? Some civilizations througout the world have accepted gays and lesbians into their society and they are doing JUST fine. People often think that hmm.. if their parents are gay! their kids will be gay! I find that freaking stupid o.O
