I'm not quite sure if I remember correctly, but in my English class two years ago we read something that said keeping them in jail their whole life is cheaper than killing them.
I should google it and see if that's true, but I don't have time at the moment.
Yeh it should cost 5 bucks but they have to do it all proper and make arrangements and everything its retarded if you comit murder and theres good evidence and the Jury and the Judge has no dought that you did it you should be taken out back and shot like in China you get a couple of days for appeal etc like 3 days then you get shot

I'm all for the death penalty and I think that we for sure need it back in Canada. It is actually fairly pricey Cost per Day per Offender is $61.58 and the average time on death row prior to exacution is 10.43 years so we will round that off to 10 years 10 x 365 = 3650 x 61.58 = 224,767 per inmate. Plus the cost of drugs is like $80. I think we need to kill more people. Being in jail for 10 years is crazy, bring them in kill them. We are spending way too much money on them.
I think we need the Penalty in Canada, but only for certain cases. Like serial killings, torture killings, or mass murders. Not when Bobby Joe kills Stevey Jims because Stevey took his girlfriend. People who simply make a bad choice dont deserve death. Not yet.

I hope you don't become a judge either...just from assaulting a cop you get death penalty? and getting a crash and killing someone? even if it is your fault, you still don't deserve to die, unless you like purposely ran the person down or something, even then, you still really shouldnt get it.

Police are authority figures, if you don't lay down the law then who knows what could happen. When I say assault I don't mean like spitting on them. I mean the major stuff. As for the driving, it's your fault that another human being is dead. A mother, or father, or son or daughter. No longer living because of what YOU did. I person would probably commit suicide if I did that. I couldn't live with it. So I don't think that I should have to, so they can kill me.
