why does everyone hate french? it's awsome! and Kris what french did you take like Core french or immersion? the immersion courses are wayyy better, but i think you'd have to start over again from a real low level.

Je suis allé en France le Québec xD Mon dieux quelle difference entre le façon qu'ils parlent. [Surprised] Il y avait beaucoup d'argot en France. Je suis entrain de l'apprendre tout [Razz]

There is a difference between French-french and french-canadian, yes roman. But it makes sense really, look at the way the other languages work. I mean, english is spoken in many places. Look at how its differences can be seen in the United States, UK, and your wonderful aussie land! Some key words are much different. Its really just the same with french and canadian people. I hated french myself as well. Its an annoying language, with a male and female version of everything.... what if I dont WANT a male hair brush, or a female paperclip. I just want a brush and a paperclip! I gave up after my first year.

The extent of my french doesnt go past being able to say hello and telling a person my name ooo and asking how they are...After that Im basically lost. ooo wait thats a lie...I can count to...dundundun 10 =D I started in french in ... grade... 3 or 4 and went on until 8th grade when finally I won the battle with my parents to quit. I just wasnt getting anywhere with it. It was frustrating for me and even more frustrating for my teachers. For some odd reason its just one language that won't work for me.

I suck at putting together sentences, it takes me a long time to figure it out, but I'm really good at remember words and stuff.

I like speaking like a sentence or two to some person, but German is my language of choice, though I barely know anything in it
