I wanna be part of a Forum that has lotsa members online. Thats why Me was thinking you (Kris) should Send a Mass email to all members. IDK, why but Maybe some will come back. Just suggesting.
Actually, this has already been done. The reason most of the oldbies on the forum that aren't moderators [Laura, AmanMatt, Magnaflux, etcetc] are aware of the forum's recent resurrection is due to that email. Thanks for the thought, though.
Yeah I have but there's also one more issue with the mass e-mails. My host only allows 350 e-mails sent PER HOUR. So that means if I send a mass e-mail only the first 350 members will get the e-mail.
I'm fixing it so I can send mass e-mails in batches.
And Retro.Friday, if you want more members online you could certainly help out by advertising on other sites, telling your friends etc. we are building slowly but surely every day, but we could certainly use help from our members, especially since you're on your way to being on the website team
We'd all love to have like 50 members online all the time, but we gotta start somewhere right?
