I just recieved my essay back today. I recieved 98 Percent. I only lost half a mark ( 23.5 / 24 ). I did it on my favourite book of all time, Skeleton Key ( Anthony Horowitz ). I am happy with my score, except one thing made me angry. The only person to do better then me was my friend who got 100%. It bugs me, because he had his brother ( who is 4 years older then us ) re-read it, proofread it ( which is okay ), but then he also added sentences, changed words and sentences around, which is unfair. I know it seems stupid complaining while I got 98, I just dont like the fact that someone got a higher mark from outside interference.
Also, I just finished another Essay that is due tommorow. I think it is pretty good, and I will post here when I get my mark.
The worst is when the parents do that, I can remember at my grade 8 science fair you could tell that the kids did no work on it and it was a huge part of our mark.
