its usually the girls that are like in a group asume the boys are gay when they always play with the same girl that makes the boy play a girl game so thats very mean and it will get a boy really mad and when the boy thinks about it he crys and starts to hate girls and will never find a life

To me, asexual doesn't seem like it fits in as a 'sexuality'. When I first read the term it reminded me of biology, asexual organisms reproduce without the use of 'male' or 'female' parts and instead procreate with only one 'parent'. After a quick search I got this:
a·sex·u·al
adj.
1. Having no evident sex or sex organs; sexless.
2. Relating to, produced by, or involving reproduction that occurs without the union of male and female gametes, as in binary fission or budding.
3. Lacking interest in or desire for sex.
So, if i take this definition literally, asexual hardly has anything to do with the topic. But asexual can also mean that one does not have any interest in any sex, male or female, which seems a bit strange and something I've never heard of. Can someone clearly clarify the use of the term asexual ?
Ahem, anyone ?

Erm, uh, I once called someone a plant liker, I guess that means I called them asexual?
asexual is a sexuality... it was clearly defined in that definition nico.... please dont demand a response from people simply because you have a hard time comprehending it. Also, has anyone noticed there are NO lesbians on this site yet? Who will do my car repairs and fix the plumbing?!?

If it was clearly defined in that definition then why did you think I asked for a more clear definition?

If this is the part you are referring to that is "clearly defined" then I'll point you to what I said:

Although I also wrote :

Which is why I am confused on the term asexual. All I asked was for someone that actually knows what the term means to clarify exactly what kind of sexuality it is because as of right now I do not consider it to be a sexaulity at all, merely the alternative to sexual reproduction (only one parent is needed to reproduce in asexual reproduction as opposed to two parents in sexual reproduction).
And I suppose I came out a bit "loud" with those bolded letters, apparently "demanding" for a response, but that was not how I intended it to be read. I just felt that my question was overlooked and so I sorta "bump'd" it up. So anyway, what is asexuality ?..

Joe, there might be some lesbians, just none who have admitted it. I think though, like you, that there are none at the moment.
Nico: Asexuality IS a sexuality. It is one because it is a LACK of sexuality. Moreso a lack of sexual desire, then an actual lack of sexuality, really. But without including it, where would someone who was asexual put their vote? They would either not vote or choose an answer that doesnt really follow their belief. Also, asexual is refferring also to asexual reproduction, which is slightly different in that only one sex is necessary to create a new life. Its saying there is a lack of sexuality, because there isnt a need to have the other sex, or even another member of the same sex to create a new being, its done solely by the one being, rather its a plant or animal or whatever it is. Its an unusual concept, but it shouldnt be as confusing as it is to you. If you are having such a hard time with it, ask a parent or teacher or someone, dont continue dismissing people trying to explain it to you on here. You have read the definition, you have been attempted to be shown what it means, and yet you still dont seem to understand why asexual is still a sexuality. Just dont "bump" the topic in an attempt to gain attention. Bumping topics is not something to do here, and further "bumping" is just going to get you in trouble.
Hemsley: Yes, it is also possible that none have admitted it yet, but if they dont admit it, they cannot be counted in my discussion

Yeah, they arent in the discussion I guess. Also, from you're post, I was confused. Can a human being be asexual?
Yes, I do believe a human being can be asexual, but I dont think it happens very often. I do however believe in the fact that a person can not be attracted to either sex even if I myself dont have that lack of attraction. I have never to my knowledge met someone who IS asexual, but I do think there are those out there who exist and are asexual. My personal opinion is, that I think it would be a very dull existance, since I strive for having a relationship in my life with another man, so I couldnt imagine living a life without caring about companionship of such a level.
