I don't work during the school year, but in the summer I am on program staff and a counselor for an awesome summer camp! Last year was my first year working there...and it was the best summer of my life. All of us college-aged staff live together in a big house on the grounds. I still think there should be a reality show made about us...
But yeah, working with kids 24/7 takes a lot of patience.. and "roll over"s! (the kinda quiet cabin time we give the kids once a day...but is honestly for the counselor's sakes for naptime!)
I just changed jobs but i'm still working in the same sort of environment (supermarket ) But now i get to work on tills etc instead of just packing shelves! I miss the people at my other job though i didn't really want to have to leave.. Sigh..
I am a cashier. I'm just waiting for the day that I turn eighteen so I could apply for a job at a bank. They earn excellent money and the job itself is completely mindless.
