Breaking someone's heart. Because you see the pain you've caused, plus you probably live with the guilt.

What if you broke up with them because they hit you? Or like Jshostar said, because they cheated on you? or something bad like that.

And then the "your heart is broken" scenario is someone who you loved incredibly, and they went off with someone else. I have to say It would hurt more to be left by something I loved than to leave something that I didnt..it makes sense.

I say they're a equally as bad, but if I had to choose, I'd say breaking someone else's heart for reasons previously stated.

Actually.. that is a good question. It's be breaking someone elses heart. I think I have been watching too much love movies / shows well actually I was only watching 2 lol well that scared me because the guy might give you revenge... Thats why I always make sure I know how I'm dating... And also Im terrible with that stuff

I can't decide -- I agree with everyone else who said it depends on the scenario. If it was a good relationship (i.e. no one cheated, wasn't abusive, etc.) I would say breaking someone else's heart. But having your heart broken is pretty bad, too.
