This poll is only open to those who have read all 6 books. Which book is you're favourite? Vote in the poll, and feel free to post about why you liked the book you chose. I voted for Goblet of Fire. Ever since it came out, it has been my favourite to re-read. I think the thing I like the best about it is that there is many sub-plots, as well as we learn alot about Snape and Tom Riddle ( my 2 favourite characters ). Unsuprisingly, my next 2 favourites are Chambers of Secrets and Half Blood Prince, also books where we learn alot about The Potions Master and The Dark Lord.

UPDATE: Now my standalone fav. is Chamber of Secrets.

You forgot the "None of the Above" option

I have never read a HP book, and I never will.

Why not?

Also, every book after the 3rd one is the best for me... they get better and better

That is why I didn't put a None of the Above option. The poll is for people who have read all 6 and can compare them.

@Kris - They're too overrated for my liking. The whole magic thing never worked for me

@Hemsely - That's not exactly fair then. There are still people on this forum who haven't read all the books, or have only read some. They can still compare, but only to the ones that they've read. If you were going to open the poll to ONLY the users who have read all 6 books, you'd of included an option for the rest of us, wouldn't of ya? [Razz]

Yeah, maybe I should have added a " I havent read them all " or " none of the above " type thing.

How would you know that they are overrated if you've never read them?

The whole 'magic' thing was never really my interest either, but the stories are simply amazing when you get into them and it's so much more than just magic - they are extremely smart, you will never read a book like them anywhere.

Also people have the right to make topics targeted to a direct audience, it was your choice to click on a Harry Potter topic even though you don't read it, there is no reason why you HAVE to vote in a poll. [Razz]

It's just my nature. I see a poll, I have to vote in it >.> And I have to sift though all the topics anyway - that's my job [Rolling Eyes]

And by overrated, I mean all the lines outside of book stores/cinemas when a new book/movie is released. I mean, seriously - you can NOT say that's not overreacting...

IMHO the books/movies are SLIGHTLY overrated, but not in a huge way - the books are awesome and deserve most of the fuss and respect they are getting.

Yeah, in my opinion, only PoA and GoF movies are overrated. I feel CoS and PS ( plus the amazing directing of Chris Columbus ) are way underrated.

Um, no offense, but I kind of wanted the poll to be just for people who have read all 6. Because you can't say PS is you're favourite if its the only one you've ever read.
