Okay, my original post was something I posted just after I had gotten in through the door, after I'd had a really rough day.
So I'm going to say it more constructively:
The two biggest teenage and young adult forums I can think of have newsletters. Both, in my opinion, are unsuccessful, and don't add anything new to the website.
What CF needs is something new, exciting. Something prominent and that'll make someone stay.
Yes, maybe that's a big thing to say and try to achieve as it'll take a lot of brainwork and (the more urgent one) money and resources. I don't think Kris can do anything really great to this website without donations etc. to CF.
I'm not saying I dislike CF or think it won't go anywhere - I like a lot of the people here, and I think it's one of the better communities I've been part of.
But there is a lot we, as a community, could do to make it better.
I know I've gone off topic, but my point still stands. I don't like the idea of a newsletter, because I think it's a wasteful use of someone's time and efforts when it'll just be the same people contributing and reading it.
Aaaand if I continue, I'll just go round in circles again.
