Phobias

I'm not afraid of anything! I mean sure there's things I don't like to do, but I'm not afraid of them

I have a list of things I am scared of and most of you will probably laugh at me for them but they include:

Hamsters
Gerbils
House Birds
Snakes
Mice
Spiders
Scary dogs -they include big mean looking dogs :p-

House Birds are terrible! Especially when they're loose, like a parrot or something. They're so mean and they peck you and stuff [Sad]

I'd much rather attempt to ride a goose then live with a parrot

I have a phobia that took over my life. Agoraphobia, its when your afraid to leave your safey zones. For 2 and a half years I couldn't leave my house at all. I missed my last two years of school, this year I was finally able to return to school.

It took 5 years for them to find out what was wrong with me. Then again i went to the hospital to find out and grade 8 and then couldn't go back till what should have been my grade 12 year.

The last few years have been crazy.

I'm from Nova Scotia, too.

I've never heard of that phobia before. This may be too personal, & you definitely don't have to answer, but is there anything that happened to make you afraid to leave your house? Wow, I just can't even imagine not being able to leave the house at all. Are you over-coming your fear well?

I just thought of another thing... Grasshoppers they scare the crap out of me. One landed really close to me last summerish time and I freaked right out to the point of having a really bad panic attack. [Embarassed]

I have! They are really weird. I caught one when I was little & when I opened my hands to see it, it had pooped on me. It was pretty gross.

I don't like being the center of attention, but
i'm actually afraid of parasites, fire, speaking infront of a crowd/class, deformed people/possibility of becoming deformed due to injury or disease... and... ghosts.
