I think there's already a thread but i dont know

PSP is way better than DS because it can watch movies, play downloaded FULL games, listen to music, and look at your pictures

PSP hands down. Graphics, features, sound, everything. I like Picto-chat on DS though.

P.S. Here's the thread you're talking about Olympia. But I don't think they should be merged, due to this also being a debate thread.

NINTENDO DS!

For one, I have this sort of hatred for any systems besides the following:
All nintendo
PS1
and PS2

x-box can go die, I hate it, it's not a true system. All true game fans would understand me on this one. And I am sure I am not the only one who would go on a rampage if Apple suddenly made an iGame Trapizoid.

But, on topic.

Sony, to me, does not have that good of a customer service, which is a turn off for me, being the daughter of a entrepenuer, it's important.

Also, Nintendo is just...well...NINTENDO! And, I'm not picky on graphics. Graphics will always get better. However, you can only go so far in develpoing consoles and hand held systems.

This was a big issue on the Wii vs. 360 vs. PS3.

Yea, PS3 and 360 graphics are far better half the time. But consider this:

Nintendo's game graphics, the ones nintendo actually make, are pretty decent. The other companies are incharge of the graphics, not the console.

And the Wii is probably the furthest in gaming technology we'll ever see for a long time. It's the step right before reality-helms and crap like that.

And, you can interact physically with the DS and Wii. You don't always sit there, on a couch with your bag of micorwave popcorn, screaming at the TV because you died in Halo 3. You move with the Wii, and with the DS.

Yea, I've heard the "But the playstations controlers are wicked!" from alot of people.

To me, they loo exactly the same as the PS1. If not, bigger. Hell, the PS3 is huge, so is the PSP, for a hand held system.

Doods, the Sega Handheld was smaller than that.

And, you still need a hundred and fifty buck memory card for the PSP? C'mon people, this is 2008. No one wants stupid little memory cards anymore. They just get lost, then you scream and yell because now your game is ruined.

And yes, I do realize if you lose your Nintendo DS cartridge, you're pretty much fucked for your game data, which is sad, because, honestly, I've lost alot of games around my house...They usually end up in weird spaces like my pillow case or ijn a pair of socks...but...yea.

And I know I'm ranting, but ... NYYA!

Now, this is also a hard subject to touch on for me, because I am an avid gamer. I've got alot of systems, inculdin the PSP and PS3, I like them, yea...

But Nintendo is my true self in game form, the NES was the first system my hands ever touched. Followed up by several other systems, the Genisis officially being my favourite to this day.(Doods, ECHO THE DOLPHIN ROCKS<3)

And after Sony and Insomniac sorta fell through after Spyro: Year of the Dragon, and Spyro went over to a Multi-Console game company, I lost alot of interest in Sony.

So, in conclusion, I herby vote:

NINTENDO DS to be my choice, for historic and cultural reasons.

P.S.

X-BOX SUCKS!

What is a true system? That is a rather sweeping generalization about true game fans would understand me on this one. I've heard of it before. Who or what is alot of people? I'm not too good with negative counterfactuals. That is a rather sweeping generalization about people. And sad because he or she lost alot of games his or her house are is yesdo realize if you lose your Nintendo DS cartridge you much fucked for your game data which. Thanks for the information: SamWhipps said it realize if me lose my Nintendo DS cartridge me much fucked for my game data which is sad. Where did you last see alot of games his or her house are. But what? What is so bad about ps [size15]X-BOX?

It just came like the plauge into the world of video games.

I hate new things when the old is best.

It's like fixing something that does not need to be broken.

And, I just hate it. It bugs me, it's big, it's bulky. Sort of like the GameCube, which, in all honesty, I'm not that big on.

Most new systems I don't like half the time, I'm playing PS1 at the moment(Spyro: Rito's Rage).

And people are always so "DOOD! THE GRAPHICS ARE, LIKE, WAAAAY BETTER< WHY CHO PLAY DAT SHIIZ?!" and I'm so bloody sick of hearing about graphics. Good god, it's people with the "Looks are everything"

Yea, they make the game a bit better, but isn't it the interaction the main key to the game?

But, that is just meh. I do not care much for X-Box. At all.

And, I have the tendancy to rant, so, meh again. People have their own opinions, I have mine.

I still will always hate x-box. Because I am a close minded freak who hates new things into my little world of technology.

Oh, and a true system is that big ass Atari Arcade games with pac-man in them. Oh, and the Atari Ping Pong.

Beep.

Boop.

XDDDD

Do not deny. Those are the sex.

avoid double posting in the future, this could get you in a bit of trouble with some of the more anal mods. I will now combine your posts.

I would have to say the DS just because neither system has ever had good games in my opinion. Nintendo has gone down a bad route attempting to go retro and at the same time make gimmicky controllers IMO. However the PSP really doesn't have any supper cool games either and at least the DS has pokemon.

I choose PSP. I could think of hundreds of reasons why it's better.

PSP:

It has significantly better graphics, which may not mean a lot to most people, but when you are getting into technical details in some games like shooting games, it can make all of the difference.
PSP has free wifi, which the DS also has built in, but requires you to buy a $30USD card to browse the internet. The PSP also has the ability to play through wifi and ad-hoc, which the DS has the ability to do, as-well.
The PSP has a bigger screen, which, when watching movies, is a huge advantage over the DS, which can't watch movies, or play music without a separate card, which nintendo does not even make.
PSP has expandable memory, to put more games, music, videos, and applications on.
PSP has amazing homebrew/hack cabablities, I can play games that I download off of the internet and put them right onto my PSP, so I don't have to pay $40-50 for a game I may only play once.
PSP also can play music, which is a great advantage, because you don't have to carry a separate MP3 player if you have enough memory on the card.

/fanboy speech.
