Design a LOGO Competition!

Instructions: Reply to this topic with an official 'Community Flow' logo designed by you with photoshop, psp, or other image editing software. When you look at the logo you MUST be able to look at it and think, "oh thats Communityflow.com!". You can use for example the letters "CF" and make a very cool and funky, yet simple logo - or you can do something else even more creative... it's your choice.

We will be using your logo all over our website, so keep it simple, catchy, cool and put in some thought.

Examples of 'logos' would include:

Google logo...

When you look at the text, even if it doesn't specificaly say "Nike" etc. you know the look of it.

Aaaumm I sarted a gif one while ago... it was moving though.. it's kinda like LW's. Would that be allowed.. Now I might have some motivation to finish it.

Aha! I have a really good idea for a logo. But Kris, if I have problems somehow uploading a pic into my post, would it be possible for me to email it to you or one of the staff?

Hello Kris. I am entering the competition. My entry is the Rainbow CF Logo. I made it because a rainbow represents happy colours, and since it is a community, people will tend to feel welcome if they see the logo. It also looks good when it's smaller, and would make for a good logo next to the name of Staff or Moderators. By the way, the pale blue in the background is just a result of my Picture It program. The real logo would just be the CF logo on it's own.

I made another version of that logo. It is the same, except I added a mouth and an eye in the C. It makes a happy face, showing that CommunityFlow is a happy,welcoming, community website.

Overall, I feel that both of those Logo Designs will attract visiters and remind people of our site, which is, in the end, the ultimate goal.

Just a heads up. (even though there are like 7 gay people here that post often) This isn't a site dedicated to supporting the gay culture. Usually, and no this is not a steriotype, rainbows means gay pride. But I dunno it's up to Kris.

Gay pride? Ohh... I never really thought about that. I originally thought of doing a blend of pink and dark blue, to underline the Girl/Guy Connection. Will that look better?

Yeah I sort of agree, I like the basic design - but it's a RAINBOW, It's supposed to be cool, funky, and attract teenagers- it should have an edge to it. It shouldnt be so.. I can't find the word.

Here's my first entry.. I don't really like it but I want to go with the Idea of having the "low" in the F.. simple but elegant.

OK. Kris, disregard that entry. I'm gonna make a similar one ( similiar, not exactly the same) that will have a zing to it, and will make you want to click it.

It's interesting robbie, I think you could do some small touches to it so it can be a bit 'bolder' and not look so scribbled (even though I think that was the point).

Robbie that looks pretty good. Im getting off now ( cause my computer is lagging ) but when I come back in a bout 15 minutes, hopefully I will have my new logo entry.
