I don't really get the big deal surrounded by it, they're normal people, with normal feelings and normal abilities. We're not better then them and we shouldn't be afraid to interact with them either. They don't have some sort of killing disorder that will somehow mess you up if you touch them or get within three feet of them.
Some of my best friends are bisexual or homosexual and I don't have a problem with it at all. So, I just don't get how someone can be against someone based on who they date, make-out with, or engage/marry, especially when that person doesn't know the person that they are somehow instantly disgusted by. It's base souly on that persons sexuality and it's nowhere near fair.
I have absolutely nothing against homosexuals. If anyone ever says a negative comment or slur about a homosexual, I'm usually the first to stand up to them. I am heterosexual, but I have a few friends who are homosexual and I don't see them any differently than all of my other friends. People who judge homosexuals are arrogant and completely ignorant.
