I'm from the U.S., but my heritage consists of mostly german, then some irish and polish i think. But I'm pretty sure my relatives have been in the united states for a very very long time, and I dont think I have relatives in those countries.

but in a lesson at school once, we had to see if we could trace our name back to a different country.
my last name turned out to be german. there is also a train station in germany with my name =D
