Community Flow :: Acne

See, with me, the biggest problem is washing my face when I don't have acne. The only times I wash my face with soap is:

If I have acne
After sports
If my mom makes me

So, I gotta work on taking care of my skin, even when it is in a good state. Then I will be A OK

yea that can cause acne, and oily and dirty face will only feed your acne, i keep my face clean, which is most likely why its so much more clear than other people's faces

What do you wash your face with? If you use something with Benzoyl Peroxide or something like that, washing your face often can make it worse. Lots of people have sensitive skin and don't know it, and washing your face, even if it's only a 1% solution more than once a day can inflame skin. So be carefulll!

I wash with Soap, Other Soap, and water. Works pretty good.

I used Snap hehe It's hand stuff, but my doctor said it would work on my face too.. and it did [Very Happy]

There's no Benzoyl Peroxide, I checked [Razz]

I only used it at the morning & night and at lunch I washed my face with soap. I still continue this routine, but my face is pretty much all clear now soo I was just wondering if i should continue or only start up again when i see a break out?

My personal suggestion would be to continue doing what you are doing, if only to prevent future flare ups or the extent of future flare ups

Whoop, I just got a breakout. That sucks. But I shower everyday, and I wash my face probly 3 times a day, so its almost cleared off now. Go me.

I hate acne. I don't have alot, but the zits on me look nasty. If you had like one or two they would not look so nasty, but these gross me out. I shower everynight an they haven't left. WHY? [Sad]
