I'm non-religious also. My parents taught me how to be a Jehovah Witness practically my whole life, but they didn't mind if I chose not to be. I'm a "Non-participant"
I was baptised under the United Church when I was younger but never really followed a specific religion. For a while when I was younger I went to sunday school and to church with a family friend...When I got older I started to question the teachings and couldnt get non contradictory answers and now don't particularly follow any religion.

Heh... I used to be catholic... I used to be an altar boy. But when the preist found me making out with the other altar boy in the closet we got chased out of the church with pitchforks and fire sticks.
I dont have a religion, and FYI thats called Atheism. I am an Atheist.
Just because you don't follow a religion doesnt mean you don't believe in something spiritually...Atheism is the complete denial and disbelief in any form of god...so to not follow a set religion doesnt necessarily make you an atheist...just to be more specific...

i view religion as something thats possibly made up to answer our questions like "where did we come from?" and "why are we here?" or a systematic way of governing peoples behaviours, either way, i know im not a bad person, and i dont believe i need religion to moderate my behaviours, because im sensible enough to know whats wrong and whats right
heh.... I failed to mention, even though I consider myself fully atheist, not religious whatsoever, I am also an Ordained Minister. Through a church in California, I was Ordained to be a fully legal minister, capable of performing many ceremonies and services. Most common are weddings, but funerals, baptisms, christenings, excorcisms, and "love affirmation" ceremonies are all under my jurisdiction if I so chose to do so.
