he gets drunk 24/7 but if you say that hes drunk he freaks out and runs out of the house down the street and into the woods for like 3 hours. you cant stop him from buying beer and he wont stop drinking for anything. he was even drunk for my play that i was in

I don't know man, maybe you should try holding an intervention. If you don't know what it is, it is basicly when a bunch of family and friends kind of confront a person, telling them about their problem and trying to get them to admit it, and get help. It usually helps them to know that all their relatives care so much to try and help them. Thats all I can really think of, hope I helped.

Well he is also not acting like a responsible parent by getting drunk all the time, which is also breaking the law. If this gets too out of hand, talk to a teacher that you trust or a relative [not your mum/stepmum though. that would be bad]. If he actually gets violent, you may want to get the police involved.

If all else fails, call your local Child Services. Hope that helped. [Smile]

Yeah, is there a Kids Help Phone in you're area? They will know exactly what to do. Yeah, when I said about the intervention I didn't really think about the reactions of other family members.

really puts a bad image in your head doesnt it, all these commercials try to glamorize it and make it look cool to drink and party with your friends, but you never see the other side to it, the one where the alcoholic father wastes all his money on alcohol and comes home to his family wasted and starts abusing them

im truly sorry that i cannot help you, but good luck
