I think that that show was awesome. It seemed like You could always relate to one of the characters / relationships. I personally have the Dawson Joey thing going on, I am best friends with this girl but it will never be anything more, but in the back of my mind I really want it to be. One of my all time favourite quotes from the show was said by Jack to Joey (I think)
Quote:
I don't believe in perfect love. But I do believe that there are people who's lives are inextricably intertwined.
Soulmates, not lovers. They always get each other maybe too much to be together.
Another perfect part of the show, is in the last episode when Dawson makes the his show (He Directs) all about him and Joey, and how eventually they don't end up together but will always have the strongest friendship possible - soulmates.
Oh, I loved that show! I think I've seen every episode 2 or more times, which is only slightly sad. I can't say I ever related to any of the characters, or any of the relationships on the show.
I also didn't think that many guys liked the show either, I thought it was mainly a chick thing.

That Jacksie''s Looking Great!
Clearly the parts I liked ;] When I say "Guys could enjoy" I guess I should say everybody can enjoy, there were funny parts. There was a gay guy ;o that is for guys.

The gay guy was, I'm sure more likely to appeal to the gay audience. And, I'm sure Jack did just that.
You don't really have to come up with reasons that were good enough for you to watch the show, it's okay that some guys like to watch chick type shows. Some girls like man type shows.
