Just out of curiosity, I wanted to know what people's perceptions of raves are (if you haven't been to one!)
When I say rave, I say a full out DnB/Jungle or Happy Hardcore or Hardcore party, I don't mean House and just regular clubs and whatnot that don't last 'til 6ish AM like the good raves ;D
I guess they can be fun. Never been to one. I would like to try to go to one just for the experience.
I just think that raves rely way too much on drugs however from what I heard from friends.
There was also a murder at a rave where I live.

I made no resolutions for the New Year. The habit of making plans, of criticizing, sanctioning and molding my life, is too much of a daily event for me.

To be honest, I've brought several friends just to see what it's like to raves, and some of them have liked it, and some have hated it,
to be honest for me, it's all about the dancing
All these scene and mod kids are going to raves now, it's turning into a trend like being bisexual and wearing eyeliner >.>; gaaaah. They're all straight-edge though so I guess it's kind of good to change our rep as chemically induced hippies
And woooow haha, so ironic that the same subculture that defines Peace, Love, Unity and Respect as their philosophy has a murder happen at their gatherings..
Because of the stupid island I live on, the whole raver scene is impossibly tiny here. So no, I haven't Hopefully I might get to go to one when I move back to the UK or to Canada though
