I dont know alot about Salvia so I decided to look it up on Wikipedia, this is just a little summary.
Salvia divinorum, also known as Diviner’s Sage, ska María Pastora, Sage of the Seers, or simply by the genus name, Salvia, is a powerful psychoactive herb. It is a member of the sage genus and the Lamiaceae (mint) family. The Latin name Salvia divinorum literally translates to “sage of the seers”. The genus name Salvia is derived from the Latin salvare, meaning “to heal” or “to save”.
Salvia divinorum has a long continuing tradition of use as an entheogen by indigenous Mazatec shamans, who use it to facilitate visionary states of consciousness during spiritual healing sessions. The plant is found in isolated, shaded, and moist plots in Oaxaca, Mexico. It grows to well over a meter in height, has large green leaves, and hollow square stems with occasional white and purple flowers. It is thought to be a cultigen.
Personally, I had tried the drug once. I didn't feel the buzz that much, maybe it was because I hadn't done it before and you never get high the first time?
The one thing I've heard about Salvia is that when you take it you can sit there for 3 mins, and it feels as if its been 3 hours?
So my question is has anyone ever tried this drug before? If so what are the after effect's of it?
Okay, my "trip" only lasted about 15 minutes. Except, I thought I was a milkshake. (My friend told me). Apparently, I was staying perfectly still trying not to "spill".
Salvia is completely legal, for now. Its gaining attention in some places, and some people are pushing to make it illegal. I have absolutely no problem with Salvia as I have found myself that the high is very short, and still enjoyable. I dont understand why people would have a problem with it.
