no offense but im against diets. being comfortable with your body is vital and thinking that you have to diet to be skinny is just not cool.

Not everyone diets to 'be skinny.' Dieiting can be done for health reasons and can also help people become 'comfortable with [their bodies].' Having said that though, I've never been on a diet but my Mom tried some Dr. Phil something a while back and I think it was good. [Rolling Eyes]

Yeah, Im against like Nazi diets. I am dieting right now, but only slightly. Like say, I make sure to eat a fruit at Breakfast, I bring two fruits to lunch at school, and have a fruit after Dinner kinda thing. I also really cut down on little snacky things. I actually enjoy fruit alot more now and eat it out of choice alot of the time, and I also enjoy having more of a healthy lifestyle.

I don't do a specific diet. I just eat healthy foods and try not to eat too much and go to the gym a lot.

I don't think that's what was implied, I think the point of the post was that crash diets are not healthy and when people are dieting to loose weight because they view themselves other than how they actually are that I believe is what she is against. There are so many people in this world that will starve themselves, or change there eating habits to drastically that its not healthy. Going to far with a diet can lead to eating disorders and worse problems.
