Okay my really close guy friend has a brother in grade 7 and a sister whos like in kindergarten. his parents beat him and swear at him and stuff and sometimes at school he'll be like really depressed and no matter what we do we cant cheer him up. we've told him to call kids help phone or whatever but hes scared that like the police or whoever will take him and his brother and sister away and they'll get split up. like cause when people adopt kids they dont always want the whole package you know ?
anyways hes REALLY protective over his sister and he always says " ill never ever let them lay a hand on her" the parents dont hit the sister. only the brothers. mostly my friend but i dont know what to do to help him. he doesnt want to be separated from his sibling but hes SOOO unhappy/
If you could carefully understand what I'm about to say, in your phonebook in the front with the long lists of numbers, there should be one for something like "Gaurdian At Lidem". If you call that number, you could find someone to talk to to tell them what is going on with your friend and his siblings and you could express to the person that the boy being abused is afraid to do anything because he wants to stay with his siblings in a nice enviroment. You could also probably look up the Gaurdian At Lidem number online.

Kids Help Phone is actually a really good idea. If he's so scared about the police taking him away have him use a cell phone or public phone. This being for them not being able to track his house down, which I highly doubt they would do anyways since it's an advice hotline that is strictly confidential AND anonymous?
