No, but my friend is. I'm only allowed at his house at certain times because of it. He goes to see a therapist a lot, but just gets roused up when he gets home. His parents are thinking of sending him to a special boarding school
for ADD children.
I have Adhd.. God.. im actually funny when I dont take it LMAo.. but when I take it im like just sitting there.. basically.. and but when I do take it im more attentive and I dont forget things for class... I only take my Ritalin on weeks.. not weekends.. so if I have homework on weekends Ill forget to do it..
Does anyone else have A.D.D - omg my life is so screwed up because of it.. I have so many problems and now I have to face THIS as well.
And I don't want to take ritalin or anything like that - it would make me feel so fake.
Is anyone in a similar situation
I think I have a mild form of ADD. I have never mentioned it to anyone, but sometimes I have some trouble staying focused and paying attention, especially during Class. It may be something else though.
I have ADHD. I was dianogsed when I was two or three [yes, making it perfectly obviousy that I was a very, very hyperactive child] and I remember at one point when they were doing a cat scan that they had to give me a shot that would knock me out just so they could do it. I was really figity and could hardly ever pay attention when I was younger, which is probably why I only remember scattered parts of my childhood. I've taken pills since I was four though, so they don't bother me and sometimes they help me and other times they just aren't enough. lol. I'm already taking three tablets of concerta. How much more can a person take? haha.
It kind of messed me up when I was younger and I still get ticked about having it every known and again, but I realized when I was eleven that no matter how much I HATE it that I can not change it and furthermore that because of that that I should move on and get over it. I haven't completely completed that task, but hey, I managed to beat the odds against me in English/Langauge Arts. Now, I read at a grade eleven to grade twelve level. Mircle is what I call it, but anyways, getting back onto subject ADD/ADHD can suck at times but a lot of intelligent people have had it and made something out of themselves and also most ADD/ADHD people are very creative.
aw. i dont have add
i know people who do, and i just accept them for who they are. just dont think that it will affect your life, it wont .. just control it
