Back a bunch of years ago I watched one sport on TV: XFL football. It, to me, seemed far more interesting than the mainstream NFL. Anyone else remember it and miss it?

I remember when it came out.... but wasnt it backed by Vince McMahon or something? I hate american football so I dont care, but I hated it even more for having WWF/WWE ties.

but yeah I think it was backed by vince, not quite sure I haven't read the wikipedia entry in well over a month
