This is for the People who watch the anime or read the manga, Naruto...

Odama Rasengan (Great Ball Spiraling Sphere)

Name: Odama Rasengan, literally "Great Ball Spiraling Sphere"
Type: Unknown, probably: S-rank, Offensive, Short range (0-5m)
Users: Uzumaki Naruto, 4th Hokage, Jiraira

A larger and more powerful version of the Rasengan molded using Kyuubi's chakra, but as the chakra is more unstable, he needs a clone to form and control the energy.

Chidori (One Thousand Birds)

Name: Chidori, literally "One Thousand Birds" (see also "Raikiri")
Type: A-rank, Offensive, Short range (0-5m)
Users: Uchiha Sasuke, Hatake Kakashi
A very powerful technique that requires a huge amount of chakra, which becomes visible around the user's hand. Once the hand has been charged, it is then thrust straight through the target.
The name Chidori comes from the sound the technique makes, which is said to remind the listener of the chirping produced by a thousand birds. Because of the high amount of chakra it requires, a ninja can only use Chidori a certain number of times per day.

Which one do you think is stronger... If you havent seen the cartoon, you can just judge with the definitions I gave

I haven't seen the cartoon, but I've read the manga, so my opinions are based on the soundless black-and-white Naruto version. [Razz]

Awww Why's everyone going for Chidori?? Rasengan is cool, I like the bit where they fight each other at the hospital and naruto was about to use it againts Sasuke and Kakashi interferes

i like both but the rasengan is too bland. they make the chidori sound better than it is. [Rolling Eyes]

In looks, the Chidori certainly wins, but in power and coolness, the Rasengan gets my vote. It takes much more precise chakara control, and doesn't really need a fast running start to be effective. Also, as Naruto demonstrated, it can be used for things like creating a whirlpool.

Rasengan All the way man
Chidori is highly-spoken of
but if u see the episode where naruto and sasuke fight
at the hospital and when they were about to hit each other with rasengan
and chidori
kakshi blocked both of them and directed it at the tanks
If you saw the tanks a few minutes in the next show you would have seen that in the front chidori looked stronger but on the back of the tanks the Rasengan like exploded the back ogf the tank
Chidori is like an accurate hit through and Rasengan is a bit less accurate but if ur hit its deadly powerfull
