Profanity in schools.

Souledge, I advise you not to go around sterotyping people based on their profession. I have many relatives who teach, and I'll be damned if Im going to watch you group them all as the same personalities.

lol idk. our teachers are strict. i go to a k-8 school and theres a bunch of little kids running around all the time so if we swear they usually give us a half day of inschool suspension or like detention for a week

If it's directed to a teacher, it's generally worse of a reprimand than if it were to a student.

Er, usually if you're just swearing to friends, the teachers either just look and kind of giggle, or not look at all..

idk. maybe it's just me, it seems a lot of teachers like me because i'm so outgoing

Ah back in the school days.. In ours they used to give you detention or if it was bad enough they'd threateen to expell you [Rolling Eyes]

and the teachers definately mind,

we had one supply
he like WIGGED completely out at my one friend
and got it in trouble because he said the word "ass"
and he like chased after her and raised her hand in a suggestively manner,

so i think the schools should be concentrating on the teachers they bring in, and less on what us kids are cussing,

majority of adults cuss, so they are somewhat hypocritical to not wat us to?

It's not allowed but nobody cares at my high school

IDK about my technical school - I'm pretty sure nobody gives a damn because very few people are under 18 there.

Depends on who's the teacher, only some people do anything about it, if you get caught swearing it's usually an "excuse me?" from a teacher, and nothing happens when you say sorry or soemthing

Like just two weeks ago my friend was saying something that happened to him and I was like "Man, that's shitty." and the principal was right ebhind me and said "watch your language Will" and walked off

Because I currently attend a Catholic high school, you would think that the rules regarding profanity would be pretty strict, right? Well, that is completely wrong. Honestly, even though I'm in high school, there are still those immature people who draw images of penises all over their school books and actually hand in assignments with the profane drawings. This doesn't land them in much trouble, unfortunately. When I tell you that they draw these images, I mean that they cover their books and assignments with these images. It's really immature.
