I don't mean for this to sound demanding or anything, but I think it would be cool if we could begin this project, expecially since we have RPGNsider as an affiliate. :] Idk, you can just ignore me, but yea, I'm really excited about the idea, and I can help out in anyway I can.
Running an online radio is much more demanding than a forum. The costs are much more expensive to pay for the streaming, and we'll have to design a layout for it from scratch, and code everything from scratch. There is a lot to figure out.
Figuring all this out can take some time. I hope to release it on April, 31 for V. 3.0 of CF
Maybe some tech savvy people in the forum can provide us with streaming and help jumpstart the radio?
If someone is reading this who is good with the technical aspect of setting up a radio, send me a PM -- or if you aren't registered click the "Contact Us" link at the bottom.

I could help with the coding and such. I've designed a couple of different codings for sites. It really just depends on what host you're/you'll be using. Also, I'm not exactly sure how far this would go, but I have 60 US dollars that I don't plan on using for anything if you need any money.
As for radio and such, there are some pretty cool programs out there that you can use. But yeah, just a question, but how will you be recording/producing live media off the radio? Through the phone, or what? I'm curious is why. I don't want to be the DJ, but I do have some music suggestions to whoever becomes the DJ. I'd be fine with talking on it though.
1. A layout for the radio needs to be designed
2. The layout needs to be coded
3. Content for the radio needs to be written
4. A radio server needs to be purchased
5. The layout needs to have some php coding done to it to show the song information, amount of listeners, etc.
6. There will need to be some custom scripts I need to add to it including polls, requests, dj login, etc.
7. We will need to hire DJ's
8. We will need to teach the DJ's to use shoutcast, or other radio streaming programs. As well as setting up a schedule
9. We will also need to find a seperate program that allows multiple DJ's to be on air at once when it is needed.
10. We will need to get creative and make some original radio shows, and work on maintaining that.
11. We need to release the radio, and have A LOT of marketing to get ppl to listen
12. The radio needs to be maintained
And replace we with me and it can look quite overwhelming.
All of this will require long long long long long hours, done for free, and a lot of patience.
You can see why it can take so long now!!!
All those steps [b]could[/b\ be skipped if someone just purchased a radio host and we randomly let DJ's go on as they wished. No layout or coding or anything. But that would attract practically no listeners and it would be very cheaply done, so it wouldn't be worth it.
