I JUST GOT MY FIRST JOB TODAY!!
At a dollar store. =P
$7.00 too. Not much, but for a first job, no experience, and its NOT minimum wage, I'm doin' good.
I start tomorrow. XD
Congratz wish you gud luk on ur job!
I dun really hav a job yet cuz im still too young o.O lmao
anyways I'm planning to work at Tim Hortons
I'm waiting for the summer and my friend and I will go apply there
Yay can't wait for summer!!
I got a styrofoam plane for 1.10 from the dollar store, great value if you ask me! I've had it for 2 days flinging it off the balcony and it still holds
I work as a photocopier technician. I also manage/run my uncle's carwash while he is away (6 months of the year). I also buy wrecked cars, fix them and sell them to make extra money.
I'm looking at buying a crappy run-down house later this year ($280,000 probably), spending $30,000 on fixing it up then putting it on the market for $400,000 a year later.
I plan to be working on cars and houses full time by the time I'm 25. I should own my place and an investment place (which I will rent out) by then and be working on a third house. By then I will be sick of being a copier technician so I'll chuck that job in and spend the day doing my own errands. I will probably buy a business like a small computer retail outlet.
Just a part time shoes assistant at the moment. Waiting for bigger and better things. Like stepping up to Team Leader (Hell NO!)
I can't wait to get out of the place. I've got too many targets coming out of my ears.
I've got a lot of friends though that don't have a job and just waste away in front of the tv. I couldn't not have a job though. I wouldn't know what to do with my Saturdays. I had a Saturday off one week and I ended up asking my wee sister "What do people do these days with their Saturdays?"

This is what my aunt and uncle tried doing for a while in florida but apparently it didnt work out too well. Maybe the market over there was bad.
Right now I'm unemployed until the summer when I get to go back to camp and be a counselor again! I'm sooo pumped! Ahhh I love camp lol
Spring/Fall: I volunteer at an Elementary School for Two Hours a week, I proctored a test once in a while at University for a little extra cash.
Summer: I just got a job as a Assistant Camp Counselor-in-training for 12.50 an hour. Not bad at all. =P
JustJen, you just have to buy in the right areas. I'll be buying in an area that is being improved at the same time. For example, Midland is a hole now, but in 2 years it will have a brand new hospital, school, police station ect ect so that will add value to my house too.
