I made no resolutions for the New Year. The habit of making plans, of criticizing, sanctioning and molding my life, is too much of a daily event for me.
I would say I am unsure. I want to but there is some stuff that just doesn't make sense. They will probably never be able to prove it one way or another. I think that most of the stuff in the Bible is symbolizim so maybe God is just a symbol for pureness and a father figure.
I'd say Unsure too. I believe that there's SOMETHING guiding us, but I... I don't know how to put this. I don't believe in half of what the Bible says; I treat those like stories. I don't believe in Jesus though. I was born into a non-religious family, but raised in very religious surroundings so my beliefs have gotten all wierd and twisted
I also don't believe in any of the stuff that's forced upon me by my colleagues. I'm labelled as an atheist at my school by some people and it feels like they're mentally poking me with sticks x.x;
Yeah, I hate talking about my religion. ^_^; Too confusing.
If there was a Hell No potion I would of picked that.. I can't stand christian ppl.. not that I'm being god racist.. but I just plain don't like them.. If they wanna have belifes, please.. PLEASE! do not have those belifes in my presents...

Many people that were brought up as Christians (like myself) sat through Church listening to all the stories and always being told God is good, yada yada. As children we believe anything we hear. As we grow older we start to think for ourselves more. Most people are "unsure" because they were brought up to believe in god, but it is human nature to doubt things unless you have felt/heard/seen it (examples: Ghosts, UFOs, etc.). Some also have hard times in their life that cause them to second guess if there really is a god, and if there is, why does he have to make life so miserable? Isn't he suppose to care for everyone? So why does he hate me so much? While others (like myself) will look at those people and wonder the same kind of questions (if there is a god, why does this person have it so much worse off than I do? This person is a great person, yet they still have it worse than me. Why?).
It's just human nature to doubt things that aren't backed up by fact or if you have not yet experienced it.
BTW, I too, am "unsure"

I only went to Church in grade school before school on Tuesdays and Thursdays...other then that, I think I have been to church once, maybe twice since then (I am going into my senior year)

Of course, I believe in God. God is the one who created this world, the land, water, animals we love like: dogs and cats, a sky to look at and other cool things. He made all this things a good colour. (I know he made it a good colour because we're very very used to it.) Like seriously! Is there any other colour in the world??? God knows, of course. I've prayed to God almost everyday. And I still remember something when I was in Kindergarden, it was so hot, I didn't feel good and I prayed to God to send wind. You know what I see? I saw the leaves moving. Is that something happening at the same time? Or is that really truly God? Thats my purpose for believing God.
You want to know why? Because what is god? God could be anything. God could be a fruit, god could be a skateboard, god could be anything.
Unless I know what "God" really is, I don't need to believe in him. I mean, there is no proof that he is a man. He could be a gopher. (In which case I would believe in him)
When I was younger I was a complete bible thumper, as I started getting older I started questioning what I was being taught and found there are by far too many contradictions for me to agree or believe. I do not believe in any form of organized religion on a whole. I don't however have a problem with those you do believe but I do not in any shape or form appreciate when anothers religion is pushed down my throat and have no respect for those who only use religion when it helps there cause.
