I check this off but I constantly have to log in every visit. The strange thing is it does work sometimes but most of the time now I have to log in manually, argh.

Mine continually logs me off, each visit I make to the site it boots me, and if I try to visit the admin control panel is asks me to sign back in again sometimes.
I've found that when I have that problem, if I delete my bookmark for the website, then log in and click "log me in automatically", then re-add it to my bookmarks, that usually works. I'm not sure if it always does though.

Lol, when you sign into the admin panel you are re-authenticating yourself for security reasons, it doesn't boot you - thats supposed to happen every time.
